Its a good start, but you should up the fps to 30. Add a hittest to see if there is ground under you before you jump. Instead of just subtacting from y value, make a new variable for the y speed and subtract y from that. Every step have y speed go up by adding it to a gravity variable.

the jump thing is supposed to be there, you can jump off walls, and if i did the whole run thing, wouldnt it make the sticks motion less easy to follow

for the bullet

You have to use trigonometry. When you make the bullet, set rotation towards mouse. Then use sine and cosine to find the distance it travels up and left. should look something like this

_y + math.sin(_rotation)*speed

something like that
